{"id":71590,"date":"2023-02-28T15:51:44","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T14:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centcols.org\/backup\/cahier-des-charges-parcours-membres-or\/"},"modified":"2023-07-22T12:24:55","modified_gmt":"2023-07-22T10:24:55","slug":"cahier-des-charges-parcours-membres-or","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/centcols.org\/backup\/en\/cahier-des-charges-parcours-membres-or\/","title":{"rendered":"Cent cols approved routes: specifications"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The routes approved by the Club des Cent Cols are governed by a strict specification in order to obtain a coherent and representative collection of routes by Club members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Each route is to have a title composed of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The two letter national code of the country, within which the route is situated.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The regional \/ departemental code<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The route&#8217;s name, according to the author&#8217;s choice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Examples of titles : FR-74 Col de l\u2019Iseran \/ DE-BW Oppennau&nbsp;\/ IT-CN Boucle des Intersile<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The&nbsp;<strong>informations&nbsp;<\/strong>required of the author of the proposed route are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The&nbsp;<strong>first name and second name<\/strong> of the route&#8217;s author (no pseudonyms allowed)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">A&nbsp;<strong>descriptive summary<\/strong>that encourages the reader to ride the route: two or three phrases on the interest, the cultural and heritage aspects, the beauty of the surroundings, etc<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The&nbsp;<strong>list of cols<\/strong>on the track with the name and the code of the cols with the visuGen link<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The&nbsp;<strong>date<\/strong>on which the route was ridden. The state of the roads and the list of cols can change over time. Each route must have been reconnoitred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The&nbsp;<strong>starting point<\/strong>with a suitable parking space.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Some&nbsp;<strong>key words<\/strong>(5 maximum) to facilitate research on the route&nbsp;: the starting point and for example the name of the principal col, the name of the mountain range.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Useful information for those who will ride the route :<\/span><br><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">For road routes, severe gradients, amount of traffic etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">For MTB routes&nbsp;: the sectors where you have to push, and their lengths, the probable difficulties, the possible dangers, etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">All the itineraries approved by the Club-des-Cent-Cols are offered as an indication only.&nbsp;<strong>Their authors, the Club des Cent Cols accept no responsability<\/strong>&nbsp;for unforeseen circumstances owing to the cyclist himself, the equipment used, weather conditions, and everything concerning the roads, the tracks, their surroundings and other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"kt-adv-heading_d76269-8e wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading_d76269-8e\">The requirements to be met by the routes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The routes must not include access to prohibited cols, nor cross private property or enter&nbsp; Natural Parks or any unauthorised place generally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The&nbsp;<strong>road routes<\/strong> must<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Include at least 1 col<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Be no more than 100 km with no more than 2500 m of climbing*<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The&nbsp;<strong>MTB routes<\/strong>&nbsp;must<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Include at least 1 col&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Not include dangerous or &#8216;acrobatic&#8217; sectors&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Indicate parts that may be discouraging (voids, bridges, vertigo\u2026)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Accept short and easy sections of pushing ,&nbsp;known qualitatively by the author<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Be no more than 50 km with no more than 1500 \/ 2000 m of climbing*<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The&nbsp;<strong>gravel&nbsp;routes <\/strong>must<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Include at least 1 col&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Not exceed 70\/80 km and 2000 m of climbing*<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Only include cols that are 100% rideable with access of R1 and S1 grade.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Accept a few short sections of pushing (R2\/S2 for an out and back for example)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>* A departure from these conditions (to be discussed) is always possible according tro the interest of the route<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"kt-adv-heading_7b645a-bf wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading_7b645a-bf\"><strong>Organisation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Members should send their routes to the following address&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><a href=\"mailto:parcours-or@centcols.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>parcours-or@centcols.net<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">A group of three persons will examine the acceptability of the proposed route according to the conditions above.&nbsp;They will publish it on the Club&#8217;s website, and in the Club&#8217;s account on Openrunner, and manage it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Then, the routes will be listed on the Club&#8217;s site, in the menu \u00ab Cycle tours \/ Members&#8217;
