H\u00f6he: 700 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Touristische Beschreibung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Sierra Nevada (auf Spanisch \u00abschneebedeckte Gebirgskette\u00bb) ist ein von Osten nach Westen verlaufendes Gebirgsmassiv. Es entstand zeitgleich mit den Alpen bei der Kollision der afrikanischen und der eurasischen Kontinentalplatte.\u00a0 Der Pico del Veleta (3396 m) ist der dritth\u00f6chste Gipfel Spaniens und liegt am westlichen Ende des Gebirges oberhalb der Stadt Granada. Die \u201eh\u00f6chste Stra\u00dfe Europas\u201c (der Titel ist umstritten!) f\u00fchrt fast bis zum Gipfel hinauf. Einige Nebenp\u00e4sse tragen zur Attraktivit\u00e4t des Pico del Veleta f\u00fcr Radfahrer bei.<br>Der Aufstieg zum Pico del Veleta ist in dieser Tour enthalten.<br>Entlang der Strecke gibt es Hotels, sodass man den Aufstieg in zwei Etappen aufteilen kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technische Beschreibung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Route ist f\u00fcr erfahrene Wanderer gedacht: Man kann sie in Etappen zur\u00fccklegen, indem man w\u00e4hrend des Aufstiegs in einem Hotel \u00fcbernachtet.<br>Die Strecke umfasst 84 km asphaltierte Stra\u00dfe, 10 km Feldweg, 6 km Verbindungsweg zwischen den Skipisten des Skigebiets Pradollano und 1 km Radweg am Ende der Strecke.
