G\u00e9rald, w\u00e4hrend eines Aufenthalts in Valcavera im Jahr 2018<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

G\u00e9rald trat 2003 in den Club ein und nahm an zahlreichen Aufenthalten teil. Er hat viele Jahre lang f\u00fcr den Club gearbeitet: als \u00dcbersetzer (Artikel auf unserer Website, Anmeldeformular f\u00fcr Aufenthalte), Autor von die Saga von Parpaillon<\/a> (Zusammenstellung der Artikel, die von 1970 bis 2020 in der Zeitschrift \u00fcber diesen legend\u00e4ren Pass erschienen sind). Im Sommer hatte er sich bereit erkl\u00e4rt, den Posten des Nationalen Delegierten f\u00fcr die Zone Gro\u00dfbritannien und Irland zu \u00fcbernehmen, um Jeremy Chandler zu ersetzen, da dieser gesundheitliche Probleme hatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er sollte an der Sommerfreizeit in Vaison-la-Romaine teilnehmen und am 19. August teilte er mir mit, dass er aufgeben m\u00fcsse, da seine Krankheit ihn so schwach gemacht habe, dass er die Reise nicht antreten k\u00f6nne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er liebte die Ubaye und wohnte 25 Jahre lang im Hotel du Cheval Blanc in Barcelonnette, wo er der treueste Gast war. Die Baisse de P\u00e9gui\u00e9ou FR-04-2400a, die er am 26. Juni 2025 \u00fcberquerte, war sein letzter Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paulette Autric, die ihn am besten kannte, sagte mir: \u00abEr ist unbek\u00fcmmert, er sah die Gefahr nicht\u00bb.
