CC 5519 Claude Dupont died on the 14 December 2024

It was in 2002 that we joined the Club des Cents Cols. Claude had a passion for these climbs. The pure air of the mountains, their calm, the various landscapes of each massif travelled made a sweet reward for our efforts and sometimes gave us the pleasant surprise to meet a fellow ‘Cent Cols’. From the discovery of cols hidden in an almost virgin nature to the great classics of 2000 metres or more he was never disappointed and his great pleasure was to search for new ones until the day when his lack of balance prevented him from getting on his bike.
 
Let’s hope that the cols in Paradise are even more beautiful than all the rest and that he will find again the pleasure to be amongst the peaks.
