Technical description
The route is relatively straightforward, with 40% tarmac roads and the rest on good, rolling tracks.
The only part of the route that requires you to push is at the end of Oppenau at km 32 for around 500 m, then you pass a farm and have to take a very passable grassy path that twists upwards until you find a track again, and make the return journey to the DE-BW-0510 pass.
As with most routes in the Black Forest, there are often quite steep gradients to contend with.
