Start : Schiltach, several free car parks including one along the Kinzig at the junction of Haupstrasse and Auestrasse. Alt : 330 m
For accommodation, I recommend the Gasthof zum Weysen Rossle. Rose-Marie Wolber is very friendly and speaks French. The food is very good.
General description
As you pass through the villages, you’ll see the carefully decorated houses that are so typical of this mid-mountain region. There are numerous viewpoints along the way

Technical description
This route presents no difficulties and was covered with a mountain bike fitted with 40 Gravel tyres, without any problems. Approximately 50% of the route is on nice rolling paths and the rest on tarmac roads.
The access to the DE-BW-0689c pass is very steep for 1.8 km, sometimes approaching 20%.
Access to the final pass DE-BW-0590a is an easy push of around 300m. Unlike the trail, you climb up and down on the same descent path.
