We heard about Jacques’s death after a long and painful period for Michelle his wife.

As a member of Sologne-Cyclo club from Romorantin (Loir-et-Cher department, Nbr 41), he loved discovering the mountains with his club. He was a regular participant in our spring holidays : Ripoll, Rémuzat, Digne, Gillette (where he climbed his 1000th col) as well as our summer holidays : Lescheraines, Yraval, Bussang…accompanied by Michelle.

For me, he was a great companion on the road, or on a walk to go and find improbable passes, never resigned or discouraged ! His good mood made him popular among Cent Cols members who never ceased to ask about him after he stopped his activity a few years ago.

We will keep a dear memory of all the moments we shared.
