Massif Central East , Col de Pavezin, 26 September 2021

This year once more, our regional get-together in the eastern Massif Central, will be at the Col de Pavezin (FR-42-0651) in the Loire départment in the foothills of the Pilat Regional Park.

This is the col that was chosen by Paul de Vivié, better known as Velocio (the father of cycletouring) to meet his cycletouring friends each September.

The originator of the word cyclotourisme (born Pernes-les-Fontaines in 1853, died St.Etienne 1930) was beloved of all cyclists. The cycle industry of St.Etienne owes much to him.

That is why the CODEP 42 of the FFCT, in his memory, organises an assembly every year in this mythic location. We will take advantage of this to join them for a morning in autumn.
