The “radiales ibericas” of the FECT
The Radiales Ibericas are ideas for cycle touring, on roads, made by the Federación de Cicloturismo. The main objective is the promotion of non-competitive cycletouring and the discovery of all the provinces of the Iberian peninsula.
148 road cols can be found on the routes of these Radiales out of a total of 2660. Don’t forget that Spain has more cols than any other country in the world.
The 12 Radiales have for starting points a different place in the Madrid Autonomous Community, surrounding the city. They extend towards finishing points situated around the perimeter of the Iberian peninsula.
Each Radiale comes in a variety of forms :
- Super Radiales : from the start to the finish, returning by a variant
- Radiales simples: from one end to the other of a corresponding Super Radiale, in either direction
- Radiales explorer: variants of Super Radiales, shorter (a third)
They also comes in a variety of times and sections :
- Free: no time limits, intermittent sections possible, no subscription, neither before nor after.
- Tourist: no time limit but with information from the organisation before or after the route.More information and subscriptions by following this link
- Endurance with a set time and a continuous route.
