Meeting of  Ordre des Cols Durs / Club des Cent Cols

Sunday 6 October 2024, they came in great numbers in spite of the rain to climb the Col de Latrape in the French department Ariège and celebrate this thirtieth meeting organized by the Club des Cent Cols and the Ordre des Cols Durs, two fraternities with the same spirit of brotherhood promoting mountain biking.

We could enjoy a nice sunny day with mild temperatures (19°C). Cyclists arrived from 10 to 12.30am to share the traditional bread and drink, symbol of friendship, and to exchange on their memories and future projects.

About fifty cyclists remained to listen to the organizers’speeches. The ancestral blanquette was offered as an aperitif to conclude this meeting.

Among the numerous cyclists were Henri Bosc from Bordeaux, the oldest Cent Col member, Maxime Odemer, aged 10, the youngest Cent Col member, CoDep31 president Michel Fontayne and Cyclotourisme magazine editor Michel Savarin.
