MenuProjects and dates of future stays
The aim of this section is to keep the members informed of the projects of future stays, whatever their advancement, and their dates when they are decided. The STAY COMMITTEE in charge of this section will MAKE the necessary udates.
Any ideas and suggestions for future projects will always be welcome by the members of the board of administration and the Tourism and Stay Committee.
A stay means:
- an accommodation in a double bedroom offering full BOARD
- an area with climbs and passes
- and a team willing to test, ahead of the project, the mountain bike trails, to plot the road-bike routes as well as to elaborate the various documents (GPX tracks, roadbook)
2024 Autumn Stay
It should have taken place from the 27th to 29th of September at Bugeat in Corrèze. We will be accommodated in the sports center “Alain Mimoun” Espace 1000 Sources. The commercial negotiations are under way. The stay will be prepared by Armelle and Michel Pfeiffer.
2025 Spring Stay
This will take place from 11 to 18 May at Marina di Massa in Tuscany in Italy. The contract and the first deposit will be made in the coming days. We will stay at Torre Marina. This project will be steered by Enrico Alberini, Gérard Birelli and Thierry Labour.
2025 Summer Stay
We were going to return to Remuzat in the Drome Provencale (like the Spring holiday in 2012). But unfortunately the price offered by NEACLUB was particularly high. After some research, we chose the Hameau des Oliviers at Vaison-la-Romaine. This holiday will take place between 30 August and 06 September. It will be prepared by a small group : Brigitte and Jean Marie Gilouin, and Alain Benoist with the support of our members also belonging to the Vaison-la-Romaine cycling club.
2025 Autumn Stay
This was to have been at Aarau in Switzerland, in the Argovie region at the foot of the Jura massif. However, following the success of the break at Autun, we were very quickly confronted with problems of capacity in the Swiss establishment (80 places maximum with 3 bed rooms). We therefore chose the holiday village of l’Escandille at Autrans in the Isère. It will take place from 10 to 12 October.
