{"id":91011,"date":"2025-12-15T20:09:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T18:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centcols.org\/?p=91011"},"modified":"2026-03-19T19:43:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T17:43:14","slug":"members-route-specifications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/centcols.org\/en\/cahier-des-charges-parcours-membres\/","title":{"rendered":"Club-approved courses for members: specifications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Club des Cent Cols' approved courses are governed by a strict set of specifications designed to provide a coherent and representative range of courses run by Club members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each route has a title consisting of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The two-letter national code of the country in which the course is located<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The regional \/ departmental code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The name of the route, as chosen by the author<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ex de titre&nbsp;: FR-74 Col de l\u2019Iseran \/ DE-BW Oppennau&nbsp;\/ IT-CN Boucle des Intersile<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/centcols.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Fiche-pour-parcours-membre.odt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">information<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;required of the author of the candidate course are :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le&nbsp;<strong>first name and surname<\/strong>&nbsp;the author of the route (No pseudonyms)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>summary description<\/strong>&nbsp;qui incite \u00e0 faire ce parcours&nbsp;: deux ou trois phrases sur l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat, le patrimoine rencontr\u00e9, la beaut\u00e9 du lieu, etc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La&nbsp;<strong>list of passes<\/strong>&nbsp;on the track with the name and code of the passes with the visugen link<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La&nbsp;<strong>date<\/strong>&nbsp;at which the route was completed. Road conditions and the list of passes may change over time. All routes must have been recognised.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le&nbsp;<strong>place of departure<\/strong>&nbsp;with a vehicle parking area.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Several&nbsp;<strong>keywords<\/strong>&nbsp;(5 maximum) to make it easier to find the route: the starting point and, for example, the name of the main pass, the name of the mountain range.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les informations utiles \u00e0 ceux qui suivront le parcours&nbsp;:<br>For road courses, severe gradients, ambient traffic, etc.<br>For mountain bike routes: pushing sectors, length, probable difficulties, possible dangers, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/centcols.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Fiche-pour-parcours-membre.odt\">You can download an editable template here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the routes labelled club-des-cent-cols are proposed for information only. The authors and the Club des Cent Cols accept no responsibility for the imponderables caused by the cyclist himself, the equipment used, the weather, or anything else relating to the road, the paths, their surroundings or other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The requirements to be met by the routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The routes must not include access to forbidden passes, cross private property or enter Nature Parks or any unauthorised areas in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Road routes must<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 1 collar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rester dans un cadre de 100&nbsp;km et 2500&nbsp;m de D+ au maximum *<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mule tracks must<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 1 collar&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No dangerous or acrobatic sectors&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Point out areas that may act as a deterrent (gaps, bridges, vertigo...)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tolerate short, easy pushing sectors, known qualitatively by the author<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rester dans un cadre de 50&nbsp;km et 1500 \/ 2000&nbsp;m de D+ au maximum *<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gravel routes must<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 1 collar&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rester dans un cadre de 70\/80&nbsp;km et 2000&nbsp;m de D+ au maximum *<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only cycle passes at 100% on R1 and S1 access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tolerating a few short non-cycling sectors (R2\/S2 in the return journey, for example)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>* A derogation (to be justified) is always possible given the interest of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organisation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Members should submit their itineraries to the following address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"javascript:;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>parcours-or@centcols.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A group of three people is responsible for examining the admissibility of the route proposed by the author according to the criteria set out.
