CC 1583, Andr\u00e9 Tignon died on 14 April 2024. Andr\u00e9 was a great cyclotourist and a member of the Audax cyclos de Tournai. He published many reports on his website dedicated to cycle touring: http:\/\/tignon.andre.free.fr\/ <\/a>
He showed his attachment to the Club des Cent Cols through a number of publications. We often came across him during the federal weeks on the roads or at the drinks organised for members of the Club des Cent Cols. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello everyone, It's very sad news that I learnt during my cycling trip (I got back last night). I knew Andr\u00e9 very well, having met him at the Paris Cycle Show in 1989, and seeing him many times, including in 2017, when he came to visit the exhibition I was organising on the bicentenary of the invention of the bicycle. We had lunch together that day, in the company of my friend Jacques Seray and his wife Eliane. Andr\u00e9 had attended the lecture on the invention of the bicycle given by Jacques. A charming man, who loved cycling and cyclists... And who had a perfect grasp of the world of cycling on his fantastic website. He followed us on this LDD, and sometimes made me a few comments on our exchanges... We're sure going to miss Andr\u00e9...  Hello everyone, I've only met Andr\u00e9 once, when he came to pick us up at the Rum\u00e9gies campsite during our Tour de la France. He took us to see a party with giants, treated us to a great meal at his place, then drove us back to the campsite. He gave us a great time at the end of the afternoon.
