But how many different landscapes, remarkable views and marvels?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">104 passes crossed (plus 20 as a close option) between 76 m and 1477 m for a total vertical drop of 25,000 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note: 4 km of R1 track for the first pass. 12 passes are shared with the permanent route \u00ab.\u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/centcols.org\/en\/one-hundred-passes-in-southern-corsica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A hundred passes in southern Corsica<\/a>\"\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accommodation is available without booking, in hotels, g\u00eetes or campsites (with or without bungalows) from Easter to the end of June and from September to All Saints' Day, which are all possible periods for this tour. Through thousands of years of pugnacious and sometimes voluntary labour, often forced by a chaotic history, man has created a little-known heritage of rare quality here, despite the isolation and low, fluctuating population. Each pass crossed is a gateway to a new valley and Philippe and Ariane Marquet each valley offers a discreet difference in adaptation to these natural or historical events within a particularly homogeneous whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The theme of this permanent route is to discover the north of Corsica via 100 passes, with a dual road and cultural framework to accompany you on your journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discover this permanent trek as experienced by Ariane and Philippe Marquet (Cent Cols nos. 6861 and 6862) in June 2012 through a superb three-part slideshow: <a href=\"https:\/\/centcols.org\/en\/util\/visuAlbum.php\/?album=6862-003\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cap Corse, Agriates, Balagne.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gulf of Porto, Niolo, Corte and the Venacais region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Costa Serena, Castagniccia and back to Bastia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eight controls are compulsory.
