It dominates the Mediterranean coastline, leaving only a small, highly urbanised coastal strip. But numerous nature parks scattered along the range protect the mountain and its forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical specifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mountain passes are located on tarmac roads or unpaved tracks, known as R1, and are therefore 100 % cycle-friendly.
