It dominates the Mediterranean coastline, leaving only a small, highly urbanised coastal strip. But numerous nature parks scattered along the range protect the mountain and its forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical specifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The passes are located on tarmac roads or unpaved tracks known as R1 and are therefore 100% cycleable.
