Alt: 1187 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tourist information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A superb mountain bike loop in France's largest alpine pasture facing the glaciers of the Meije, among crystal-clear lakes, herds and high altitude flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Emparis plateau lies at an altitude of over 2,000 m in the French departments of Is\u00e8re and Hautes-Alpes. It is part of the Arves massif and faces the \u00c9crins massif, in particular La Meije and Le Rateau.
