N\u00e9anmoins, en dehors des t\u00e2ches statutaires sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 certains postes (pr\u00e9sident, secr\u00e9taire, tr\u00e9sorier), une r\u00e9partition des autres t\u00e2ches aura lieu au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe en fonction des disponibilit\u00e9s et comp\u00e9tences de chacun.&nbsp; La liste exhaustive de toutes les t\u00e2ches peut permettre \u00e0 certains de se pr\u00e9senter en faisant mention de leurs comp\u00e9tences pour en assumer certaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devenir membre du CA est une d\u00e9cision importante; si vous \u00eates \u00e9lu, le club comptera sur votre engagement et votre implication dans votre r\u00f4le pour les quatre prochaines ann\u00e9es. Le Conseil d\u2019administration se r\u00e9unit statutairement au moins deux fois par an&nbsp;: dans l\u2019hiver avant la sortie de la revue annuelle et \u00e0&nbsp; l\u2019automne&nbsp; avant l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Outre les conditions de quorum, il est souhaitable que le maximum de membres \u00e9lus participe aux r\u00e9unions pour qu\u2019elles soient productives. Dans l\u2019intervalle, les membres communiquent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement par courriel pour traiter des sujets divers relatifs \u00e0 la vie de la Confr\u00e9rie. Des r\u00e9unions t\u00e9l\u00e9phoniques via un&nbsp; logiciel de t\u00e9l\u00e9conf\u00e9rence (facile \u00e0 prendre en main) peuvent \u00eatre organis\u00e9es pour les sujets n\u00e9cessitant des discussions approfondies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a board member is much more than just attending meetings. The vast majority of the work takes place behind the scenes, and requires a minimum level of skill in certain areas. First and foremost, a good understanding of and absolute respect for our Rules of the Game.  The Board is the guarantor of the quality of our collar catalogues, and in the event of disputes within the national Working Groups (WGs), it is the Board that must make the final decision, which must be trustworthy and made within an acceptable timeframe. In addition, team spirit is essential. This means, among other things, that decisions are taken collegially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le CA assure de nombreuses t\u00e2ches, certaines visibles et publiques, d\u2019autres moins ou pas du tout, mais tout aussi importantes&nbsp;; il faut donc laisser son \u00e9go \u00e0 la porte. However, the Board remains responsible for the work done by these colleagues. The best-known example is that of the Regional and National Delegates, who are among the club's main linchpins, but whose work is still the responsibility of the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le CA doit souvent voter sur des sujets pr\u00e9cis. The other tasks normally remain the responsibility of each of these roles, but may optionally be entrusted to other Board members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These three members also share a number of other tasks, but their statutory tasks with legal status must remain the priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chairman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairman assumes moral, legal and financial responsibility for the association. Sends out licences to interested parties (about a hundred licences a year).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Accounting<\/em>&nbsp;Receives invoices, makes payments, performs bank reconciliations, notifies interested parties of transfers received. Accounts for sales of clothing and stationery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Deposit cheques<\/em> proceeds of sales to the Club's bank account,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Management <\/em>Checks the financial terms of draft orders and draft contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Verification and presentation<\/em>&nbsp;Treasurer: prepares the club's financial statements, submits the accounting information required by the auditors, and drafts and presents the financial report for the Annual General Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-statutory \"named\" roles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>Vice-Chairman<\/strong> peut remplacer le pr\u00e9sident en cas d\u2019absence prolong\u00e9e, ou si ce dernier est dans l\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 de remplir ses fonctions. He or she has the same access rights to computer files as the secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the rest of their work, the Vice-Chairman and Deputy Secretary are treated in the same way as other Board members with unnamed roles (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Unnamed\" roles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other three members of the Board, together with the Vice-Chairman and the Deputy Secretary, share the majority of the tasks common to the whole Board, and also take on tasks that are specific to them. These are described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joint or specific tasks within the Board of Directors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board appoints <strong>members of the working groups<\/strong> (GT) the <strong>auditors<\/strong> WGs, the <strong>Regional and national delegates<\/strong> (DT) and <strong>regional coordinators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des membres du CA peuvent repr\u00e9senter le club dans des instances ou groupes de travail externes avec r\u00f4le consultatif (exemple&nbsp;: travaux avec des commissions tourisme de conseils g\u00e9n\u00e9raux\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Votes on proposed collars<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national working groups (WGs) draw up the pass catalogues and manage the modifications (new passes, deletions, various changes) which come from the field or which are proposed within the WG. More complex matters, or those requiring the participation of other club volunteers, such as WGs or TDs, are generally discussed at a semi-annual meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Annual review<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual magazine is the club's flagship publication and the main channel of communication with all members, whether 'connected' or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The editor-in-chief of the magazine is a Board position, and the duties of this post keep the incumbent busy from December to the beginning of May, or even longer, to deal with returns and items that have not reached their addressees (new items, address corrections, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux grands domaines pour les t\u00e2ches du r\u00e9dacteur en chef de la revue&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Environment and general organisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The actual composition of the magazine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This document describes the current process.
