It is ideal for those wishing to do the brevet de l'H\u00e9rault, as it takes in isolated passes on the edge of the south-west of the d\u00e9partement. First, it follows the Aude, the canal at Sall\u00e8les-d'Aude and the Cesse and their barges, then crosses the more mountainous Mediterranean hinterland. It then runs alongside the Canal du Midi between Capestang and Poilhes. Numerous village churches line the route, as does the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capestang.fr\/tourisme-loisirs\/la-collegiale-saint-etienne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Saint-\u00c9tienne collegiate church<\/a> of Capestang.
