G\u00e9rald se uni\u00f3 al club en 2003 y ha participado en numerosos viajes. Ha trabajado para el club durante muchos a\u00f1os: traductor (art\u00edculos para nuestro sitio web, formularios de inscripci\u00f3n para nuestros viajes), autor de la saga Parpaillon<\/a> (recopilaci\u00f3n de art\u00edculos publicados en la revista desde 1970 hasta 2020 sobre este pase legendario). Este verano acept\u00f3 asumir el cargo de Delegado Nacional para la zona del Reino Unido e Irlanda, en sustituci\u00f3n de J\u00e9r\u00e9my Chandler, aquejado de problemas de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deb\u00eda participar en el viaje de verano a Vaison-la-Romaine, pero el 19 de agosto me dijo que ten\u00eda que renunciar porque su enfermedad le hab\u00eda debilitado tanto que no pod\u00eda hacer el viaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amante del Ubaye, durante 25 a\u00f1os se aloj\u00f3 en el hotel Cheval Blanc de Barcelonnette, donde fue su cliente m\u00e1s fiel. Cruzada el 26 de junio de 2025, la Baisse de P\u00e9gui\u00e9ou FR-04-2400a fue su \u00faltimo paso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
