Altitudine: 700 m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Informazioni turistiche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Sierra Nevada (catena montuosa innevata, in spagnolo) \u00e8 un massiccio orientato da est a ovest. Si \u00e8 formata contemporaneamente alle Alpi in seguito alla collisione tra la placca africana e quella eurasiatica.\u00a0 Il Pico del Veleta (3396 m) \u00e8 la terza vetta pi\u00f9 alta della Spagna e si trova all\u2019estremit\u00e0 occidentale della catena, sopra la citt\u00e0 di Granada. La \u00abstrada pi\u00f9 alta d\u2019Europa\u00bb (il titolo \u00e8 conteso!) sale praticamente fino alla vetta. Alcuni passi secondari contribuiscono al fascino ciclistico del Pico del Veleta.<br>La salita al Pico del Veleta \u00e8 inclusa in questo itinerario.<br>Lungo il percorso si trovano alcuni alberghi che consentono di suddividere la salita in due parti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specifiche tecniche<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questo percorso \u00e8 riservato a escursionisti esperti: \u00e8 possibile suddividerlo in tappe, pernottando in un hotel durante la salita.<br>Il percorso comprende 84 km di strada asfaltata, 10 km di strada sterrata, 6 km di collegamento con la pista da sci della stazione di Pradollano e 1 km di pista ciclabile finale.
