Zijn nummer was 2543.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hij was gul en behulpzaam en was meerdere jaren voorzitter van AS Meudon cyclo.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zijn lichaamsbouw was het tegenovergestelde van die van een klimmer en hij slaagde erin om 2.389 passen te beklimmen. Om ons niet te lang te laten wachten op de top, anticipeerde hij op de start: \u00abIk ga als postbode, jullie halen me wel in\u00bb. Toen hij de top bereikte, stopte hij nauwelijks om te voorkomen dat we het te koud zouden krijgen. Maar vanaf 12 uur 's middags kreeg hij al snel een slecht humeur als er niet snel een lunch of picknick in zicht was.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naast de CCC-broederschap was hij ook lid van de veel informelere AOC-broederschap, de Avaleurs Obstin\u00e9s de Cols. Bergpassen, natuurlijk, maar niet de enige.
