Met groot verdriet heb ik zojuist vernomen dat Yves Bochent is overleden. Hij kwam bij de club in 2007 en vertrok in 2022. Hij was altijd toegewijd, altijd ter zake en altijd bereid om te helpen, zoals tijdens onze RP in het Zwarte Woud, waar hij de hele week onze chauffeur en tanker was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onze gedachten zijn bij zijn vrouw Malou en zijn familie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik was erg ontroerd toen ik het nieuws hoorde, want onze Zwitserse Breton was een heel speciaal persoon voor mij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik zal hem nooit vergeten, want hij was iemand die een blijvende indruk op me achterliet, met zijn ondeugende maar innemende kant waar je altijd op kon rekenen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik was geschokt toen ik het nieuws hoorde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yves was een vertederend mannetje, die ons na een van jullie wandelingen verwelkomde in zijn huis met zijn lieve Malou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik zal hem altijd herinneren als een discrete, dynamische man die altijd een glimlach op zijn gezicht had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onze gedachten gaan uit naar Malou, haar familie en de Rivi\u00e8ra club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het was nieuws dat mij ook van streek maakte. Ik ontmoette Yves in 2011 toen ik door Frankrijk toerde zo dicht mogelijk bij de kust en de grenzen. Toen ik wist dat ik een uitstapje naar Zwitserland had gepland om zo dicht mogelijk bij de grenzen te komen, nam Yves Breton uit Zwitserland, die me niet persoonlijk kende, contact met me op via de reacties op mijn reisblog. Ik zou heel dicht bij zijn huis langskomen en hij nodigde me uit om daar te stoppen.
Hij kwam me tegemoet op de Col de la Forclaz vergezeld door Bernard Besson (cc 550) om me naar zijn huis in Saint-Triphon te brengen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik kreeg een vorstelijk welkom van Malou en Yves. Een van de beste herinneringen aan deze reis. Ze haalden alles uit de kast en het was een groot genoegen om hen te ontmoeten.<\/p>\n\n\n

Yves weet hoe hij moet entertainen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Yves had een hekel aan rijden in de regen. Maar dat weerhield hem er niet van om me de volgende ochtend te vergezellen naar Saint-Gingolph voor mijn laatste etappe. Hij reed meer dan veertig kilometer in de stromende regen alleen maar om een moment van vriendschap te delen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yves <\/strong>was een kleurrijk personage wiens aanwezigheid elk moment opfleurde. Zijn vitaliteit en dynamiek waren aanstekelijk. Grootmoedig van hart en geest, wist hij zijn tijd, zijn glimlach en zijn vriendelijkheid aan te bieden aan de mensen om hem heen. Zijn nagedachtenis zal in mijn geheugen gegrift blijven als een bron van inspiratie en menselijke warmte..<\/strong>
