Marcel Bioud
Dear Cent-Cols friends,
It is with great sadness that I have just learned of the death of our old friend
Marcel Bioud.
Marcel was 90 years old and one of the first members of our Confrérie (n°12).
His first list of passes surprised many. Not only did he present a list
of several hundred passes, but a large number of these passes were
mule drivers! The mountain bike didn't exist, so Marcel had cobbled together an old one.
all terrain.
It was also Marcel who drew up the first list of passes in the Northern Alps in
inventing the Michelin coordinates.
We had the pleasure of seeing him again at Col Luitel during our last
last year's event.

Sadness and emotion upon learning of the passing of Marcel, a great friend and companion on many hikes with my father Michel Perrodin, who himself passed away in 2019.
