Swiss Concentration in Les Avants on Sunday 26 August 2007

8.30am, Les Avants, the first participants arrive and are greeted with coffee.

At 9.00am, the 16 CCC members and 8 CCR members set off for the Col de Sonloup, where the road riders, who will be doing between 40 and 60 km depending on the group, and the mountain bikers, who will be doing 26 km with 3 or 4 passes depending on their fitness, separate. The atmosphere on these pre-alpine trails was excellent, and we took the time to admire the scenery and take lots of photos. A fall (not serious), a puncture and a quick descent to Les Avants, where an aperitif followed by a convivial picnic awaited us all.

A big thank you to everyone for your friendliness and good humour.

The youngest participants were aged 9 and 12, and the oldest 76.
