Departure : Bédoin, Place de la République on the main street. Numerous car parks adjacent to the main street, including the one on Place de la Vigneronne near the post office.
Tourist information
A very scenic route starting at the foot of Mont Ventoux and passing through the hilltop villages of Crillon-le-Brave, Caromb (Romanesque church, Italian Baroque organ), Le Barroux (imposing castle, abbey) and La Roque-Alric (nestled against a rock face that hides the Dentelles mountains). This is where the beautiful views of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif begin. The dominant position of the village of Suzette offers a 360° panorama, particularly of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles. You pass Malaucène for the first time on your way to the Toulourenc Gorges (Natura 2000 site), then on the way back after Malaucène you cross the beautiful pine forest around the Col de la Madeleine.

Entirely on-road route. A few short difficult sections at 8-10% in places.
Shops, bicycle shops, toilets and water points in Bédoin. Water tap at the Col de Suzette. Shops in Entrechaux, and water point just to the left of the town hall. Shops and bicycle shops in Malaucène.
Caution: mass tourism and high temperatures in summer.
