General Meeting of the Club des Cent Cols in Bédoin (Vaucluse) on 10 November 2018
Presentation
AGM 2018, Bédoin, Saturday 10 November 2018 at 2.30 pm
You will be able to register for accommodation from June 2018 :

It's in this friendly village, at the foot of the Géant de Provence, 50 km east of Avignon and 15 km from Carpentras, that we'll be holding our 2018 general meeting. All activities - except cycling, of course - (the general meeting itself, on-site voting, meals and accommodation) will take place at the Les Florans holiday village in Bédoin, in the Vaucluse département. The village is run by the VTF company, and will exceptionally remain open after the autumn school holidays to welcome us.
Many centcolists are familiar with this village, which is the starting point for the ascent of Mont Ventoux via its southern slope, a route reputed to be the most difficult. Although our stay here is in November, it's not impossible that some people might like to make the ascent if they feel like it, in the sunshine and mild temperatures.
As usual, we will be offering two road circuits and two mountain bike trails in the surrounding area, probably departing from the centre, for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The area around Bédoin is rich in magnificent sites and landscapes that deserve our attention, especially as there is no shortage of passes. So, Dentelles de Montmirail, Gorges de la Nesque, etc., we'll see what our friends from Club Vaison Cyclo Nature (VCN) come up with, and we'd like to thank them warmly for their help in preparing the AGM and the trip.
BEDOIN
This is a charming farming village on Mont Ventoux. Spread over a large area, it is made up of several hamlets, all of which have in common the Mediterranean climate and the almost daily sunshine. It produces a AOC classified wine as well as fruit and asparagus. Bédoin is fortunate to be home to one of the largest communal forests in France. It covers more than 6,300 hectares, a third of the forest cover of Mont Ventoux. It is without doubt the most varied forest in the Vaucluse, with over 1,200 different plant species! The village has a very long history, dating back to prehistoric times. If you're curious, you'll be interested to read Wikipedia article on the Internet.
