ccWay guide: geographical selections

Dialogue for geographical selections
Geographical selections allow you to limit the geographical scope of the passes extracted by ccWay. For all countries, you have access to the map selection on Google Maps (described separately). here) and for the whole country. Other selections vary by country:
- 1 or 2 selections per administrative level, e.g. Région and Département for France, State and County for the USA, Canton for Switzerland, etc.
- 1 to 4 selections per map type, e.g. Michelin, IGN and IGN quadrant for France, Michelin Régional, OFT 1:100,000, 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 for Switzerland, etc. Note that for maps roads (e.g. Michelin, GKP) bearing the words (Truck drivers) or (Road only)only the passes road (tarmac) will be extracted, even if the filters select other categories of non-road passes.
Apart from France, which is shown above, here is a sample of the selections available for Germany, the U.S.A. and the whole of Europe:

When you choose one of the administrative or map selections (i.e. all the options except the Google Maps selection or the whole country), a drop-down menu appears. You can then choose one or more lines from this menu (examples taken from the USA and France):

[Reminder: To make a multiple choice use Ctrl-click (⌘-click on the Mac) on each line you want to select].
Please note :
- You can select a maximum of 50 multiple lines from the drop-down menus (e.g. 50 Départements or 50 IGN maps). If you want more, the easiest way is to either use the "Whole country" option or make a map selection on Google Maps (details).
- When you use the "Whole country" option, your extraction is also subject to filters.
- Whatever your geographical selection, the maximum number of collars extracted from paying catalogues that you have not purchased is limited to 100 in "member" mode. In "visitor" mode, the total number of collars extracted by ccWay is limited to 100, whatever the catalogue, even free catalogues.
