KML options

 

This section of the settings page allows you to modify certain parameters of the HFCK files produced by ccWay.

The single option for the KML format, common to both GPX and Carto Exploreur output files, is described in detail on the user guide from the Settings page.

The symbols used on Google Earth are fixed and cannot be changed by the user. When a KML file produced by ccWay is used on Google Earth, the difference between passes already climbed and passes to be climbed is made by the colour of the text (yellow for climbed passes and green for passes to be climbed). The colours of the symbols define the pass categories (degrees of difficulty), and two different symbols differentiate passes < 2000 m from passes ≥ 2000 m. The table below, which is also displayed as a legend when you click on the header of the KML file loaded on Google Earth, summarises the graphic charter of the KML files produced by ccWay :
