Author description

Author Jean-Luc Ceccato
Course To be carried out on 4 September 2020
Departure Biberach. Alt: 240 m. Parking available along Hauptstrasse in the tourist office car park.

Tourist information

This route explores the eastern side of the Kinzig river above Biberach and the edge of the small Nordrach valley through typical Black Forest landscapes.

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult and was completed with a mountain bike fitted with 40 gravel tyres, without any problems. So it can also be done on gravel tyres. It's about 50% of nice rolling lanes and the rest on tarmac roads.
The last 200 m to the DE-BW-0288 pass is a very light push. There may be an option at the foot of this small climb to continue straight on for around 300m and return to the pass via another track for another 300m.
Depending on the individual's abilities, this course can be combined with the DE-BW Black Forest Biberach West.
