Tourist information

The southern ridges of the Niolu are a wonderful vantage point over the vast, green depression of the Golo valley known as the Niolu. The north-western horizon is dominated by the Monte Cinto massif, Corsica's highest peak (2,706m), and its satellites, all over 2,500m high.

To the south-east, you can see the gorges of another of Corsica's great rivers, the Tavignanu upstream from Corte.

Technical specifications

The tarmac section covers 15% of the route, i.e. 6.8 km.

Forestry or DFCI tracks account for 72%, or 33 km.

Three sectors on footpaths will be easy. The final sectors around Bocca di Conia (S2-3) and Bocca a Canaghia (R2) will be more challenging.

A Gravel bike can therefore be used over a wide area.
