Tourist information

A route starting on the banks of the Meurthe, passing by the site of the former Pompey steelworks (where the steel used for the Eiffel Tower was produced) at the confluence of the Meurthe and the Moselle. It then follows the banks of the Moselle before climbing up onto the plateau, and rejoins the Moselle a second time. This route passes through mountain passes mentioned in accounts of the early days of the 1914–1918 war (the Battle of Grand-Couronné).
There are plenty of panoramic views along the way.

Technical specifications

A peaceful and safe route starting on the Voie Bleue along the Moselle, with the return journey taking you along quiet country lanes.
The climb up to the Col de Sivry is quite steep. It ends with a 250-metre R1 section.
