A journey through the heart of the Beaujolais region and its vineyards, featuring 20 mountain passes. To be enjoyed to your heart’s content.
Technical specifications
The road route is 98 %; the version shown is 96 km long. Taking the 2 km stretch of unpaved R1 track to reach the second Labourons Pass and join the D26 avoids a rather long round trip.
Road route at 99.50 %, with a return leg after the second Col des Labourons, accessible via R1 for 500 m (long version: 104 km)
Recommended time of year: mid-September to mid-October, so you can enjoy the onset of autumn and the beautiful colours. A mix of forests, vineyards and meadows.
Some steep but fairly short roads.
Food, bakery, café only in Beaujeu.
