Minutes and Albums Bugeat 2024 AGM
General meeting atmosphere
Everyone knew Mimoun. But Bugeat.... The spirit of the Cent Cols is one of discovery, so the 2024 General Meeting decided to leave the big mountain ranges where we usually ride, and take a short break on the Millevaches plateau in Corrèze. Plateau is a big word, as those who drove there found out. The accommodation was in the centre of the thousand springs, and it was clear how they were watered, the thousand springs... But the gloomy weather did not dampen our spirits. There were seventy of us, from all the regions. And if a general meeting resembles the obligatory figures of a skating competition: moral and financial reports, with even a polling station (see the results)... the essential was elsewhere, in the exchanges around the refreshment bar managed by the club, during meals and down times. There, we talked about cycling, passes and mountains, rewarding the longest careers with a little diploma, listening to anecdotes while the rain fell... A fine slice of friendship, as Jean Perdoux, our founder, liked them. Just as today's leaders love them, and those of tomorrow, who we'll be looking out for at the elections for the Board of Directors at the 2025 AGM in Autrans...
