Henri Dusseau rewarded

The gold medal for youth and sport was awarded to Henri Dusseau in recognition of his long history in the voluntary sector.. The Club des Cent Cols associates itself with the many testimonials it received on this occasion.

Henri Dusseau, between Brigitte and Dominique Lamouller, shares his emotions with the representatives of the federal structures present at the General Meeting.

At the General Meeting of the French Cycling Federation in Colmar, Henri Dusseau was presented with the gold medal for youth, sport and community involvement by Dominique Lamouller. This national distinction, awarded by the Minister, rewards years of voluntary work in the service of his fellow citizens.

While our Federal President has emphasised Henri Dusseau's commitment to the FFCT's national bodies, we would like to highlight his work with the Club des Cent Cols. His name appears in the history of our association in 1981, when he became its secretary, a title to which was added that of "General-Secretary" (!!!) in 1983!

In 2003, he was proclaimed Honorary President of the Club des Cent Cols. It was only natural that his name should appear again in 2012 to mark the 40th anniversary of the club. Together with Jean Perdoux, they organised the General Assembly in Annecy and published the book "1972 - 2012, 40 years of history".

Today, Henri Dusseau is happy to welcome people who are new to cycle touring and help them get started. Always ready to get involved.
