Layers
The layers have not been updated since 2007. Other geolocation tools exist, and the successive reissuing of maps with changes of scale makes the task of updating them too complex.
Layers
Several series of layers can be used either to facilitate the planning of routes rich in passes, or to reveal all the passes located on a given route.
A layer is a graphic representation of all the passes located on a fold or quadrant of a road or topographic map referenced in the club's pass catalogues. Once printed on a sheet of transparent plastic such as an overhead projector, a layer is superimposed exactly on the corresponding part of the map, indicating all the passes located there.
These layers complement the maps and pass catalogues. They do not replace the maps, as they only contain the points identifying the passes. They do not replace the catalogues because the passes are only identified by their codes - so you need to refer to them to obtain the names and other details of the passes. We strongly recommend that you obtain the pass catalogues corresponding to these layers by visiting our online shop.
The layers are updated annually following the publication of additives each spring.
