Gathering at the Col de Pavezin

Once again this year, the Massif Central Est regional meeting will be held at the Col de Pavezin (42-0651) in the Loire department, in the foothills of the Pilat regional park.
This was the pass chosen by Vélocio (the apostle of cycle tourism) to meet up with all his cycling friends every September.
Born in Pernes-les-Fontaines in 1853 and died in St-Etienne in 1930, he was the inventor of the word "cyclotourisme" and was much loved by all cycling enthusiasts. The cycle industry in St Etienne owes him a debt of gratitude.
This is why the CODEP 42 of the FFCT, in her memory, organises an annual meeting at this legendary venue. We'll be taking advantage of this opportunity to join her for an autumn morning.
