A hundred passes in southern Corsica

Presentation

A 926km route between sea and mountains in the south of Corsica.

926 km over 101 passes between 19 and 1,311 m (total vertical drop: over 20,000 m), with 23 nearby passes optional. 12 passes are shared with the permanent " A hundred passes in northern Corsica " .

Note: no more track sections, all road sections.

Accommodation is available without booking, in hotels, gîtes or campsites (with or without bungalows) from Easter to the end of June and from September to All Saints' Day, which are all possible periods for this tour. Winter makes some passes impassable, and in summer you'll need to book your accommodation.

1,000 km of nature, colours and scents.

Theme

The Club des Cent Cols, founded in 1972, is affiliated to the French Cycling Federation under No. 6384, offers you this permanent walk based on a simple theme: "One hundred passes".

The ancient Greeks already called it "Kallisté", the most beautiful. For Guy de Maupassant, Corsica is above all: "A mountain in the sea". It's the southern part of this mountain that we invite you to explore with this permanent walk based on the theme :

Discover the south of Corsica via 100 passes.

One hundred passes to join the Brotherhood of the Hundred Passes. You will then have to continue your quest in other higher mountain ranges to obtain at least 5 passes over 2,000 metres.

One hundred passes to move up the "roll of honour of the brotherhood" or simply, 100 passes to soak up this wilderness, these breathtaking landscapes and keep them in your memories in the words of Charles Maurras: "There are places where you stay for a long time without leaving anything behind. There are places that I have only passed through and that have left a deep imprint on me. Corsica is one of those places. I've never stopped living there.
