Minutes

8.30am, Nicole and Jean-Pierre bring us coffee and Cuchaule from the baths car park. The sun was shining and the temperature was already pleasant.
A small delegation of 6 riders set off at 9am for this 36km route with two passes. After a 6 km warm-up on a pretty little road, the gradient steepens to 13-15 %. Two bends before the summit of the Hauts-Crêts pass, we stopped in front of a footpath sign and were surprised to see it read "Col des Jognins".

A new pass just 2 km away and everyone agreed to take a closer look. After two km of pushing along a path, we reached the pass. To avoid going back, we decided to descend the western side to Charmey and then climb back up to the Passage du Jeu de Quille. The route was therefore 10 km longer, but with one more pass. Back in Charmey at 4 p.m. for a beer (not two) before heading home.
