The "radiales ibericas" of the FECT
The Radiales Ibericas are a series of road cycling trips created by the Spanish Cycling Federation. The main aim is to promote non-competitive cycle tourism and discover all the provinces of the Iberian Peninsula.
148 road passes are on the Radiales route, out of a total of 2,660 road passes. Spain is the country with the most mountain passes in the world.
The 12 Radials are based on departure a different location in the Autonomous Community of Madridon the outskirts of the city. They radiate out to arrivals around the Iberian Peninsula.
Chacune des Radiales se décline en plusieurs formules de parcours :
- Super Radials from the starting point to the finishing point, returning via a variant
- Simple radials from one point to the other on the corresponding superradial, in any direction
- Radials explore super radial variants, shorter (one third)
Elles se déclinent également en formules de temps et de tronçon :
- Free form no time limit, intermittent section possible, no registration, either before or after.
- Tourist package free time but with information from the organisation before or after the route
- Endurance formula with a time limit and continuous route
