Meet at 8.30am for coffee and a group departure from the car park in rue des Bergers, next to the old football pitch.

MOUNTAIN BIKE

Approximately 2 h 30 to 3 h 00 cycle route at 98%
At the start, in the direction of Baerenthal, you will take a small tarmac road downhill past the football pitch and alongside the pond.
After this 15-minute warm-up, we climb to the Petit Dunkelthal pass (FR-57-0299) on a fine track.
Then a path with a bit of pushing to reach the Grand Dunkelthal pass (FR-57-0291).
A fine descent along a forest track to the village. From here, take a fine track to the Kundschaft pass (FR-57-0340) on the Kundschaft forest road.
There's a steep climb before we reach the Col de la Melch (a new pass) where we'll share bread and cheese.
For the return journey to Mouterhouse, you can take the road or a good track to the car park (with a fine view of Mouterhouse).
