05/10/00: Frank Jacon sends us a photo taken during his recent trip to Corsica.

During the Corsica trip organised by Michel DEPONT at the request of the Hundred Passes Club, and under the guidance of Philippe CARREZ, the Breton responsible for the website, a dozen or so cyclists set off on a frantic hunt. So much so that they brought back more than 80 passes out of the 45 on the programme.
So it comes as no surprise to find 5 of them on a stony track around 2km from the BOCCA D'OMINANDA leading to CORTE, with, from left to right, Jean-Yves BLANCHARD, Jean PERRET, Daniel GOUY, Franck JACON and Philippe CARREZ.

In fact, this route allowed us to pick up 3 passes: Colletta de Sualello, Bocca Petrera and Bocca Turligno. Quite a harvest for one kilometre. They will remember this adventure for the resistance of the Michelin tyres and the lack of damage to the bikes: only two of us had a spoke removed from their wheels.

It deserved to be photographed.
