I won't be able to come, unfortunately it's too early for me (I have 4-legged friends to walk in the morning). But it's a shame you didn't go to the Col du Silberloch after the Col Amic. It wasn't that many extra kilometres and you'd have had to go over the Col du Herrenfluh on the descent to Uffholtz and, as with the Col du Sudel, you could have done a few dozen metres by pushing the racing bike to reach the Col du Freundstein.
That's 3 more passes for a few extra kilometres. The climb from the Col Amic to the Col du Silberloch (where we come from, we just say that we're going up to the Vieil-Armand) isn't very difficult compared with the climb to the Col du Haag, which is a much harder climb (one of the hardest in the Vosges).
    Sincerely
    Christophe

      Hello Christophe,
thank you for this information. Living on the southern fringes of zone 03 east, I'm not very familiar with the area, which has the advantage of being more central for the centcolists in the zone. The road course in this configuration is already 34km long with 1000m of D+ and going after these extra cols would only add 250m of D+ but 20km. It seemed to me that this was a bit out of the usual format (last year the road course was 23.5km for 700m of D+). But with the finish at the Grand Ballon, there's nothing to stop those who want to add it to their collection.
For my part, I'll be doing the road course. But as I'm arriving the day before, I'll be doing the mountain bike course.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again for my first regional meeting (as a participant and organiser).
      Kind regards
