Departure Les Bugnenets, large car park in the ski resort, 1 km from «Les Pontins», south of Saint-Imier.

Tourist information

Mount Chasseral can be seen from afar with its 120 m telecoms antenna at the summit (hotel-restaurant). A private road, it was subject to a toll for many years, which was abolished in 2007 when it was taken over by the canton of Bern. From the summit, you can admire a breathtaking panorama of the Jura, Bernese Oberland, French Alps and lakes Neufchâtel and Bienne.

Cyclable at 100%.
A very fine route with no major difficulties and a lot of road, the rest mostly on beautiful paths.
From the Col du Chasseral, you can take two additional passes (Combe Biosse CH-BE-1389 and Egasse CH-BE-1427) on a round trip (+5 km return and 152 m D+), or from km 3 (+6 km return and 230 m D+).
