We joined the Club des Cents Cols in 2002. Claude was passionate about these climbs. The pure mountain air, the peace and quiet, the varied landscapes depending on the mountain range we climbed, were a great reward for our efforts, and sometimes it was a pleasant surprise to bump into "a colleague". From the discovery of passes hidden in almost untouched nature to the great classics of over 2000 metres, he was never disappointed and his great pleasure was to plan the following climbs until his lack of balance prevented him from getting on his bike.
Let's hope that the Paradiso passes are even more beautiful than all the others and that he rediscovers the joy of rubbing shoulders with the peaks.
