Departure From: Buchenbach, at a small car park in the middle of the village on Hauptstrasse, just before the church. Alt: 450 m.

Tourist information

Buchenbach overlooks the vast plain of the Dreisam, a tributary of the Rhine. The route winds its way through the plain before climbing up to the massif overlooking the city of Freiburg im Breisgau.
There's a whole host of viewpoints on the programme!

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult and was completed on gravel.
It's a course of around 30% of beautiful rolling lanes and the rest on tarmac roads. As with most routes in the Black Forest, there are often some fairly steep gradients.
