Departure In Gengenbach, park along Friedrichstrasse, which runs alongside the railway at church level. Alt: 175 m.

Tourist information

Halfway between the 25^e and the 30th^e After a kilometre, you'll find a number of chalets with pleasant vantage points where you can enjoy a nice snack break.
Passing close to the well-preserved Ortenberg castle.

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult. It was done with a mountain bike fitted with 40 gravel tyres, without any problems and by a gravel friend. The route covers around 90% of nice rolling tracks and the rest on tarmac roads.
From the Leimenlöcher Pass DE-BW-0507, take a short, relatively easy footpath for around 500m.
Just before the final Schwandeck pass DE-BW-0450, there is also a short, easy push of 200m.
As with most routes in the Black Forest, there are often quite steep gradients to contend with.
