Tourist information

The route winds its way through forests, fields and meadows. There are a number of viewpoints along the way. The architecture of the old houses is a must-see.

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult, but it does have a difference in altitude, and was run on gravel without any problems. It's a course of around 89% of tarmac roads and the rest of beautiful lanes.
As with most routes in the Black Forest, there are often quite steep gradients to contend with.

For the more experienced, this 58 km route can be combined with the Gernsbach South route. DE-BW Gernsbach South, The aim is to create a single 119km route with a total of 2,560m of ascent covering the 12 passes in this sector, 5km north of Gaggenau (parking near the Waldfriedhof (cemetery) on the right bank of the Murg, at the junction of Michelbacher Strasse and Kniebisstrasse).
