Departure Parking at the B33/L107 junction, Steingrün, about 2 km north of Hornberg and close to the Gasthaus Gutacher Rössle. Elevation: 320 m.

Tourist information

Hornberg is located in the heart of the Black Forest, at the bottom of a secondary valley. It is surrounded by forests criss-crossed by numerous forest tracks. There is an inn at Landwassereck (DE-BW-0631) where you can quench your thirst before returning to the car.
There are numerous viewpoints along the way.

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult, and was completed with gravel. The route covers around 40% of nice rolling tracks and the rest on tarmac roads.
From memory, there is a short push through the forest to reach the Riesenbauerhöhe pass (DE-BW-0761).
The last three passes are an out-and-back.
