Tourist information

This route explores the massif to the south-west of Kirchzarten. Part of it lies directly above the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, offering great views of the city and the Rhine plain. At the end of the route, at the Hundsrücksattel (DE-BW-1194a) and Schauinslandpass (DE-BW-1196) passes, there is a magnificent panorama of the Swiss Alps.

Technical specifications

This route is not difficult and was completed with gravel. The route covers around 40% of nice rolling tracks and the rest on tarmac roads.
The access to the first Pfisterhöhe pass (DE-BW-0551) has a gradient approaching 20%.
