Departure Schiltach: several free car parks, including one along the Kinzig at the junction of Hauptstraße and Auestraße. Alt: 330 m.
For accommodation, I recommend the Gasthof Zum Weyßen Rößle. Rosemarie Wolber is very friendly and speaks French. The food is very good.

Tourist information

As you pass through the villages, you'll see the carefully decorated houses that are so typical of this mid-mountain region. There are numerous viewpoints along the way.

Technical specifications

Cet itinéraire ne présente aucune difficulté et a été parcouru avec un VTT équipé de pneus 40 gravel, sans aucun problème. L’itinéraire se déroule à environ 50 % sur de beaux chemins roulants, et le reste sur des routes goudronnées.
Attention : l’accès au Passhöhe Eckte DE-BW-0689c présente une pente très raide sur 1,8 km, avoisinant parfois les 20 %.
L’accès au col final Sattelebene DE-BW-0590a présente une section avec poussée facile d’environ 300 m. Contrairement à la piste, vous montez et descendez par le même chemin de descente.
